What you get
Akamai acquired Linode, and its cloud platform now runs under the Akamai Cloud name. Referral links and sign-up pages still use linode.com.
New accounts created through a referral link get $100 in credit that expires 60 days after activation. It covers many Compute plans, Object Storage, Block Storage and NodeBalancers.
Who qualifies
- New accounts only. If you've already used a Linode or Akamai Cloud free trial, you don't qualify.
- You must sign up through the referral link.
- Add a valid payment method (a card, PayPal, or Google Pay linked to a card) before the credit applies.
- One promotion per customer, and it can't be transferred.
How to claim it
- Open the Linode link on this page.
- Sign up with Google, GitHub or email and accept the terms of service.
- Add a payment method. A temporary pre-authorization can take a few days to clear.
- The $100 credit is applied to your account. Use it within 60 days.
Good to know
- GPU plans aren't covered.
- Marketplace apps and third-party services are excluded.
- Usage beyond $100, or after the 60 days, is billed to your payment method.

No. GPU plans are excluded.

No. It's for new accounts that haven't used a free trial before.
Will I be charged during the 60 days?
Not while you stay within the $100 credit. Usage beyond the credit is billed.
